As part of the nationwide celebration of Youth Festival 2025, Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Limited (BIFFL), through its Financial Literacy Wing (FLW), organized a Financial Literacy Program on 13 September 2025 at the auditorium of Dhaka International University (DIU). The program was held under the theme “Let’s Change the Nation, Change the World.”
A total of 73 students, including 12 female participants, joined the program. The discussions highlighted key aspects of financial transactions, personal financial management, and the importance of youth participation in BIFFL’s financial services. The program was presided over by BIFFL’s CEO, Mr. S. M. Anisuzzaman, while the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of DIU, Prof. Dr. Ganesh Chandra Saha, attended as the special guest.
The event began with a presentation on BIFFL’s activities, followed by a series of presentations on seven financial literacy topics as outlined by Bangladesh Bank. A video published on Bangladesh Bank’s official website was also screened for the participants. This was followed by an engaging question-and-answer session, where BIFFL officials shared their practical knowledge and insights with the students.
In his speech, BIFFL’s CEO emphasized the significance of financial discipline, savings, and investment for the younger generation. The program concluded with the closing remarks of DIU’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor. As per Bangladesh Bank’s directives, all attending students filled in the prescribed financial literacy forms.
